About to VCICA 2026
The 2026 International Conference on Visual Culture, Iconography and Contemporary Art will be held in Wuxi in 2026. Wuxi, located in the Yangtze River Delta region, has profound historical and cultural heritage and rapid development in digital cultural industry and creative design. The conference conducts interdisciplinary discussions on contemporary evolution of visual culture, research methods of iconography, and cross-border practice of contemporary art, covering directions such as digital imaging, network visuals, advertising design, and public art. Topics also include frontier topics such as AI-generated art, NFT and digital collection, social impact of visual communication, and visual representation of cultural heritage. The conference aims to explore new forms of visual culture in the era of technological change, promoting dialogue and integration of art, design, and technology.

All full paper submissions to the VCICA 2026 could be written in English and will be sent to at least two reviewers and evaluated based on originality, technical or research content or depth, correctness, relevance to conference, contributions, and readability. All accepted papers of VCICA 2026 will be published in the conference proceedings, which will be submitted to EI Compendex, Scopus for indexing.

Submission Guidelines
Delegates are encouraged to submit their papers/abstracts to the conference. Good quality papers will be selected by the organizing committee and Prof. Soteris Kalogirou, the editor in chief. After it, the authors will be invited to extent their papers/abstracts and submit them to vcica@confsflow.com. The normal size of research papers is 4,000-6,000 words excluding abstract and references.
