About to SMEGD 2026
The 2026 International Conference on Semiconductor Materials, Epitaxial Growth and Device Physics will be held in Jinan in 2026. Jinan, as the capital of Shandong Province, is accelerating its layout in information technology industry and semiconductor materials research and development. The conference conducts in-depth exchanges on crystal growth of semiconductor materials, epitaxial layer quality control, and device physics mechanisms, covering mainstream material systems such as silicon-based semiconductors, compound semiconductors, and wide bandgap semiconductors. Topics also include advanced epitaxial technologies such as molecular beam epitaxy, metal-organic chemical vapor deposition, and atomic layer deposition, as well as device structure designs for high electron mobility transistors, power devices, and optoelectronic devices. The conference aims to break through key technical bottlenecks in high-end semiconductor materials and devices, supporting independent development of the electronic information industry.

All full paper submissions to the SMEGD 2026 could be written in English and will be sent to at least two reviewers and evaluated based on originality, technical or research content or depth, correctness, relevance to conference, contributions, and readability. All accepted papers of SMEGD 2026 will be published in the conference proceedings, which will be submitted to EI Compendex, Scopus for indexing.

Submission Guidelines
Delegates are encouraged to submit their papers/abstracts to the conference. Good quality papers will be selected by the organizing committee and Prof. Soteris Kalogirou, the editor in chief. After it, the authors will be invited to extent their papers/abstracts and submit them to smegd@confsflow.com. The normal size of research papers is 4,000-6,000 words excluding abstract and references.
