About to SBGEN 2026
The 2026 International Conference on Synthetic Biology, Gene Editing and Neuroengineering will be held in Wuhan in 2026. Wuhan, as a technological innovation hub in central China, has profound accumulation in life science research. The conference conducts discussions on enabling technologies of synthetic biology, optimization of gene editing tools, and frontier applications of neuroengineering, covering directions such as gene circuit design, cell factory construction, and cell-free synthesis systems. Topics also include off-target effect control of CRISPR-Cas systems, base editing and prime editing technologies, brain-computer interface signal acquisition and decoding, and neuroprosthetics and functional reconstruction. The conference aims to promote deep cross-fertilization of engineering and life sciences, opening new technical paths for disease treatment, biomanufacturing, and human-machine integration.
