About to NEDEM 2026
The 2026 International Conference on New Energy, Distributed Energy and Microgrids will be held in Lanzhou in 2026. Lanzhou, located in northwest China, has concentrated energy and chemical industries and faces unique challenges in new energy accommodation and distributed energy development. The conference conducts discussions on optimal allocation of distributed resources such as distributed photovoltaics, decentralized wind power, and biomass energy, as well as microgrid operation control and energy management. Topics also include key technologies such as microgrid grid-connected and off-grid switching control, multi-microgrid interconnection, virtual synchronous machine technology, demand-side response strategies, and energy routers. The conference will showcase distribution network resilience enhancement schemes under high-proportion renewable energy access, providing solutions for power supply issues in special scenarios such as remote areas and islands.

All full paper submissions to the NEDEM 2026 could be written in English and will be sent to at least two reviewers and evaluated based on originality, technical or research content or depth, correctness, relevance to conference, contributions, and readability. All accepted papers of NEDEM 2026 will be published in the conference proceedings, which will be submitted to EI Compendex, Scopus for indexing.

Submission Guidelines
Delegates are encouraged to submit their papers/abstracts to the conference. Good quality papers will be selected by the organizing committee and Prof. Soteris Kalogirou, the editor in chief. After it, the authors will be invited to extent their papers/abstracts and submit them to nedem@confsflow.com. The normal size of research papers is 4,000-6,000 words excluding abstract and references.
