About to MEEN 2027
Held in Xiamen, this conference relies on the city's deep accumulation as a domestic marine research hub and the locational advantages of a southeast coastal shipping hub. It focuses on three core directions: multi-sphere collaborative observation technology for the ocean, theory and practice of coastal ecosystem restoration, and intelligent navigation and green ship technologies. Gathering senior experts in marine science, ecological protection, and navigation engineering, the conference conducts in-depth discussions on sustainable use of deep-sea biological resources, capacity expansion and carbon sink enhancement of blue carbon ecosystems, and autonomous navigation safety of unmanned ships. Featuring field visits to nearshore scientific research stations and industry-academia-research matchmaking, the event promotes cross-boundary integration of marine basic research, ecological protection technologies, and navigation engineering applications, providing an exchange platform with both practical value and academic depth for building a marine power in the southeast coast and global ocean sustainable governance.

All full paper submissions to the MEEN 2027 could be written in English and will be sent to at least two reviewers and evaluated based on originality, technical or research content or depth, correctness, relevance to conference, contributions, and readability. All accepted papers of MEEN 2027 will be published in the conference proceedings, which will be submitted to EI Compendex, Scopus for indexing.

Submission Guidelines
Delegates are encouraged to submit their papers/abstracts to the conference. Good quality papers will be selected by the organizing committee and Prof. Soteris Kalogirou, the editor in chief. After it, the authors will be invited to extent their papers/abstracts and submit them to meen@confsflow.com. The normal size of research papers is 4,000-6,000 words excluding abstract and references.
