About to IDLC 2027
Landing in Dalian, this conference relies on the city's locational advantage as a window for cultural exchange in Northeast Asia and its foundation in the industrial design industry. It focuses on three core sectors: innovative design of products and spaces in the new era, theory and practice of cross-language communication, and the inheritance of regional culture and international development. Inviting global scholars in innovative design, linguistics experts, and cultural industry practitioners, the conference conducts deep exchanges on innovative design of Northeast Asian characteristic industrial products, improving the efficiency of multi-language cross-cultural communication, and the activation and development of coastal regional cultural IPs. Featuring exhibitions of innovative design works and cultural industry project matchmaking, the event promotes the cross-boundary integration of design innovation, language communication, and cultural inheritance, building a high-level international academic dialogue platform for cultural exchange in Northeast Asia and the upgrade of regional cultural industries.

All full paper submissions to the IDLC 2027 could be written in English and will be sent to at least two reviewers and evaluated based on originality, technical or research content or depth, correctness, relevance to conference, contributions, and readability. All accepted papers of IDLC 2027 will be published in the conference proceedings, which will be submitted to EI Compendex, Scopus for indexing.

Contributors are encouraged to submit papers / abstracts to the conference. The organizing committee will select high-quality papers and recommend them to SCI/SSCI journals. For specific matters, please contact the person in charge of the conferrence.
Submission Guidelines
Delegates are encouraged to submit their papers/abstracts to the conference. Good quality papers will be selected by the organizing committee and Prof. Soteris Kalogirou, the editor in chief. After it, the authors will be invited to extent their papers/abstracts and submit them to idlc@confsflow.com. The normal size of research papers is 4,000-6,000 words excluding abstract and references.
