About to FICHD 2026
FICHD 2026 will be held in Changsha. Changsha, as a cultural hub of Hunan, has abundant intangible cultural heritage resources and active cultural and creative industries. The conference focuses on the theoretical research of folklore, the practice of intangible cultural heritage protection, and digital inheritance technology, covering core directions such as folk literature, traditional skills, festivals and ceremonies. The attending experts will delve into cutting-edge topics such as digital collection of intangible cultural heritage, virtual display technology, intellectual property protection, and community participatory protection. The conference aims to promote a deep dialogue between humanities and social sciences and digital technology, providing diverse paths for the creative transformation and innovative development of traditional culture.

All full paper submissions to the FICHD 2026 could be written in English and will be sent to at least two reviewers and evaluated based on originality, technical or research content or depth, correctness, relevance to conference, contributions, and readability. All accepted papers of FICHD 2026 will be published in the conference proceedings, which will be submitted to EI Compendex, Scopus for indexing.

Submission Guidelines
Delegates are encouraged to submit their papers/abstracts to the conference. Good quality papers will be selected by the organizing committee and Prof. Soteris Kalogirou, the editor in chief. After it, the authors will be invited to extent their papers/abstracts and submit them to fichd@confsflow.com. The normal size of research papers is 4,000-6,000 words excluding abstract and references.
