About to ECSN 2027
This conference will be held in Lanzhou, relying on the accumulation of long-term Earth science observation data in the arid northwest region and the advantages of the new energy base industry. It will focus on three core areas: the evolution law of the Earth system in the arid region, the response mechanism to extreme climate events, and the efficient development and utilization of wind and solar new energy. The conference invites senior experts in the fields of geology and climate, as well as technical backbones in the new energy industry, to conduct field visits and exchanges on characteristic topics such as the ecological evolution of the Loess Plateau, climate adaptation optimization of the Northwest Wind and Photovoltaic Base, and coordinated scheduling of wind, solar, and water storage. This will promote deep collaboration between earth science research and new energy industry planning, and provide scientific support for the construction of the Northwest Green Energy Base.

All full paper submissions to the ECSN 2027 could be written in English and will be sent to at least two reviewers and evaluated based on originality, technical or research content or depth, correctness, relevance to conference, contributions, and readability. All accepted papers of ECSN 2027 will be published in the conference proceedings, which will be submitted to EI Compendex, Scopus for indexing.

Submission Guidelines
Delegates are encouraged to submit their papers/abstracts to the conference. Good quality papers will be selected by the organizing committee and Prof. Soteris Kalogirou, the editor in chief. After it, the authors will be invited to extent their papers/abstracts and submit them to ecsn@confsflow.com. The normal size of research papers is 4,000-6,000 words excluding abstract and references.
