About to CHCEM 2026
The 2026 International Conference on Cultural Heritage Conservation and Environmental Monitoring will be held in Jilin in 2026. Jilin, located in northeastern China, has rich industrial heritage and ice and snow cultural resources, with dual needs in cultural heritage protection and regional environmental monitoring. The conference focuses on deterioration mechanisms of cultural relics, compatibility design of protective materials, and continuous monitoring of the surrounding environment of heritage sites, covering different types of protection technologies for ancient buildings, grottoes, murals, paper cultural relics, and metal cultural relics. Topics also include microenvironment regulation, visitor carrying capacity assessment, impact of climate change on heritage, and digital protection archive construction. The conference is committed to establishing preventive protection concepts, achieving sustainable inheritance of cultural heritage.

All full paper submissions to the CHCEM 2026 could be written in English and will be sent to at least two reviewers and evaluated based on originality, technical or research content or depth, correctness, relevance to conference, contributions, and readability. All accepted papers of CHCEM 2026 will be published in the conference proceedings, which will be submitted to EI Compendex, Scopus for indexing.

Submission Guidelines
Delegates are encouraged to submit their papers/abstracts to the conference. Good quality papers will be selected by the organizing committee and Prof. Soteris Kalogirou, the editor in chief. After it, the authors will be invited to extent their papers/abstracts and submit them to chcem@confsflow.com. The normal size of research papers is 4,000-6,000 words excluding abstract and references.
